Hello all,

I am getting together with lots of family and friends over thanksgiving (lots of potential customers) and I have a lot of hawks and knives available to test. However, I'm not going to be able to transport my targets (pine logs split in half). Does anyone have a good, sturdy target system thats quick to build? I'll have a day of prep time. Thanks

At your local hardware store pick up 2x4's of the cheapest stock they have and run them vertically along the grain. Use gangnailing across the back, top and bottom to keep them together.

Its like the 2x4s except its 4x4s . Instead of gangnailing this guy puts a pallet binder strap on the outside of the square of 4x4s effectively creating a target with no metal in it to dull or chip a blade . This guy also incorporated a seat belt on either side of the square . He would find a suitable tree wrap the seatbelt around the tree and cinch tight his suspended target . Just be sure to bind the square tight enough and have it big enough tro not allow misses to damage the tree or object behind it .
