Just what the title says, a quick vid of the Rodent 9 flying through the air from ~20 ft. I included some of the misses as well as many of the sticks, but i cut it down to 3 minutes as it's... um... repetitive? Anyway, great knife for throwing! Any others willing to submit videos?

Nice throwing! I suck horribly at throwing knives. The only things I can get to stick are stars and CS torpedoes.
 
Did you ever miss the tree entirely? That would've been kinda funny to see a Rodent 9 go sailing through the air right past that tree lol.

Anyway, good job. Only a true knife-nut would post 3+ minutes of himself launching a chopper at a tree. Then again, only knife-nuts like us would sit there and watch it, ha!
 
Yeah, I threw for over 30 minutes and let the camera roll the entire time! My wife rolled her eyes at me when she saw it, but it was a lot of fun and I didn't feel like walking over to the camera often. I cut out most of the walking and a few of the hits but kept all of the misses to show that the knife can take it - spine and pommel strikes from too much force in the throw. I'd have sped it up and slowed down some of the spins but don't have software for it. Once I cut the video down to 3 minutes, I just stopped bothering with it and published to Youtube - throwing the knife is fun, editing the film is boring, and youreally needn't watch the whole thing :p It is DEFINITELY repetitive.

But no, never missed the tree entirely, it's actually pretty wide so not hard to hit, except for the big hole punched right in the center that I hit on that last throw! :)

Anyway, I'm used to throwing tomahawks, so smaller throwing knives have always felt, well, small. This thing is perfect! :cool:
