Please check out this link, and then I have a question...

http://www.cabelas.com/vprod-1/0000253.shtml

I want advice from you folks...
I am considering purchasing the 'Throwing Tomahawk' and the 'Belt Holster' shown in the link...

Any of you have experience with this product?
Is it any good, or a cheap 'knock-off'?
It looks good, but it could be a piece of JUNK...

Help me out here... :thumbup::confused::thumbdn:

I dunno...but I'm gonna get one of those holsters to see if it fits my Trail Hawks. Will advise when it comes fellas.

Not a bad holster, But I would still make some type of edge cover, that edge sticking out the back not covered would make me weary, could catch your arm on it or something.

For a practice or learning thrower, it is probably just fine. Most likely it is not heat-treated appropriately for anything else. I charge twice that for a plain thrower from the HSS Forge Works.

Do you have a website or something that shows your work?

Thanks for all of the replies... I appreciate the info...
Any of you here have experience with ANY of Cabela's tomahawks?

Have not handled one of these but Cabelas usually has pretty good products.

I have one. It is heavier than my CS hawks and looks pretty good for an Indian (from India) hawk head. It throws well enough, but is not the prettiest hawk in the world. Would be a good starting hawk.
