Hellow everyone i am new to the Cold Steel fourm.

I am here looking at the 4max and I was a little surprised that I can thumb flip the 4Max open first try smooth and then the great Triad lock Snap.

Does anybody else have the thumb power to flick open the 4Max?
Thanks.

Did yours come smooth or is it requiring a bit of break in. I purchased two of them one of them came buttery smooth and the other one is stiff not gritty just stiff.

Please pardon my intial remark and take it with a grain of salt, was kinda moody and took your sentence
"Does anyone else have the thumb power to flick open the 4Max?" as a boast of sorts and replied with sarcasm.
Apologies.

don't own one yet, but likely wouldn't try. flicking makes little sense to me as it benefits nothing in the way of using the knife and adds some unneeded wear and tear on the parts.

good to know it's that smooth though that's it's possible.
