So the Seb is in the shop right now and Im debating on switching out the lugs... What is your choice if you could pick? Single or double? What color? Mine is a large regular so it's kind of a blank canvas.

Thanks,
Berkely

Yes, definately get a silver backspacer.

I prefer silver colored hardware to gold or blue, as the anodizing wears off quickly, and I really hate that worn look.

I would prefer dual lugs and top smooth like the early P models, less friction rub on your thumb.

A single blue thumbstud would be my preference. It's ultimately your decision so get what you want for your Sebbie ;)

IMHO Large regulars look best with one blue stud with most all the blue rubbed off from use. The Ti should have carry marks, and the edge should be polished.

BG42 helps also :D

But hey,........Its your knife

So I got off the phone with Karmen a little while ago and placed my order for a double silver lug and a backspacer as well.

I appreciate all the input from you guys, please don't let this thread die with the purchase on my knife, it's helpful to hear the opinions of others.

I am going to like the silver, I always felt that the blue lug was random looking on the Sebenza. The double lug shoulnt be much of an issue for my pocket as it will see much more sheath time than in the pocket. I am very excited to have it back, so I can finally put it through it's paces.

I was also very impressed with how friendly the people at CRK. Service like they provide is a lost tradition nowadays. They had better get used to hearing from me as they now have another lifelong customer.

I have double lugs on my first knife because I thought I would need them, but as time went on I found that I only use one lug, so my other Sebs all have only one lug.

I've had blue, gold, & silver, & the silver just wears better, IMHO. As for double or single lugs, that depends. I guess if you might carry it to be accessed with your left hand (Or the opposite if you're left handed), why bother with a double lug? Since the lock can't really be closed with the other hand (If doing it with only 1 hand), then why have another lug? As someone pointed out, a double lug is only going to wear out your pocket.
