Thumb Ramp on Classic Sebenza

Are the classic Sebenzas now being made with the new thumb ramp? I would like to get a small plain classic with the old thumb ramp.

my small classic was made in August '04 with the older ramp. The store where I bought it also had a classic with the newer ridges. So, basically, it seems that you can still get them either way, unless the changeover happened after August.

I think it's a hit or miss type of thing. I have a 2003 small snakewood inlay with the new serrations (which I prefer). My 2004 Giraffe bone inlay came with the old serrations. I'm going to send a note to Anne to have my 2005 Mammoth ivory inlay with the new serrations and also the custom backspacer. I'm going to use that baby too. Thatis, of course after I touch up the edge on my Egde-Pro.
I suspect there will be quite a few Sebenzas available with the old serrations.
