I just got a twitch II. I thought it was a SAT activated by the thumb stud. Instead its one of those that open by pressing down on a lever on the back of the handle. The thumb studs will not open the knife. Anyone know why the thumb studs are there?
Also, the Twitch II is a bit stiff. I have a Kershaw bump with a similar spring assisted opening lever on the back of the handle. Its much smoother. Can't say as I'm real pleased with the twitch II at this point, but maybe it will grow on me.
I got the Gentleman at the same time. It has a stud that opens the knife, but only on one side. I'm a lefty so I cant open it unless I use my right hand. Its also a black stud and a polished stainless steel knife. I would have much preferred a stainless stud, and on both sides. I'm giving it to my dad, who is right handed so it shouldn't be a problem. Still, I'd like the knife, but will not get one for myself for the above reasons.
