Thumb studs

They can replace them, with single or double lug, but the blue will wear off just like the originals. They will not do some older models if they don't have blades available. There is always some risk of cracking blades.
 
I didn’t realize it was that involved I’m just having a moment where I can’t remember whether the sebenza 31 I just ordered is single or double lug.

Did you order from
CRK or a dealer. If CRK just change the order. Otherwise the knife has to be sent in since the studs are press fitted.
The risk is very low, and I have had it done a number of times.With a 31 it should be no problem, and if one occurs they will take care of it.
They have always had very good customer service and are easy to work with.
I have grown to prefer the single lug.
