Here's a thread for photos of your CRK arriving home before that well-deserved cleaning. Some days my knife comes home clean, other days not so. Sometimes I can clean the knife as I go, but other days there is no facilities or no time. I love the beauty of a new CRK, and the photos of the weather-beaten ones are also cool, but what we are often missing here is photos of these knives getting a little nasty.

Today I used my large Tamboti 21 to strip the insulation off some ground wires, to cut the straps from a bunch of electrical cables, break down some boxes, to cut free a crab-trap tangled in rotten nylon rope, and to cleanly open a bag of chips.

Came home looking like this. Mainly mung today, no blood (thankfully:D):

From the dictionary: Mung: "something disgusting or offensive, especially filth or muck."

Lol. Thanks. I googled it and all I came up with is that it is some kind of bean...

The Nyala is my go-to knife for deer. This was a doe my wife took at 588 yards last Saturday. Instant dirt nap.

Wowsa, me and Lone Wolfe brought the mung, but you delivered the blood! Well done. Now what about that pocket lint? ;)

My daily carry. Gets full of dust and grime pretty quick. Sorry it's an at work picture.
