Thumbs up for Benchmade warranty

Once again Benchmade goes well above and beyond with customer service.
If you guys may remember my Minigrip M4 exhibited a burnt tip.
I talked to benchmade and explained the situation. Also asked if it needed a blade replacement, was it possible. They said it could be difficult but they'd work it out.

Here's my knife back from Benchmade:
Centered, no blade play, and the blade was replaced despite being a limited edition. Other manufacturers would of just send me back a paperweight or probably regrinded the blade since they don't stock limited edition parts.

Unfortunately they did misspell the lasermarking I asked for, which I am disappointed for...

I am glad they treated you well.

And it looks like someone was following the...“i” before “e” except after “c” and when it has the “a” sound, as in “neighbor” and “weigh.”
 
Benchmade warranty is pretty amazing. I asked them to replace the blade on my 140 a little while back. The 140 is a fixed blade, so that meant replacing everything but the two slabs of G10 on either side of the blade. $30 later, brand new knife.

Also, the redheaded girl who did the laser engraving on a gift knife is HELLUVA beautiful. Can't remember her name, but she's worth the trip to the factory.
