Got home last night and found my new Spyderco Cricket SS waiting for me. Great little knife. Small, well made and perfect for what I want.

I bought it online from New Graham Knives, a great company to deal with. Fast friendly email responses, good price, honest with the shipping charges and it got here in under two weeks, not bad at all for international shipping.

When I unwrapped the parcel they had put a small plastic container in there with a magnet attached so you can stick it to your fridge. It is a bandaid dispenser with a few bandaids in it and written on it is, "You're going to need them." An amusing little addition to the package and a clever marketing move.

Good company to deal with, if they have what I want I'll definitely be buying my next knife there.

Have a look:

I've not heard a single bad thing about new graham knives...

What made you choose to buy from them?

I chose new graham because they've got a good selection of benchmades and their prices are quite competitive. Also because they accepted my international credit card. Some other companies don't and ask that i use international money order which is a hassle since i have to go to the bank to make one up.

the service from NGK is also top notch...response to emails are quick...and the people there are friendly...

for me...if new graham is selling the knives ...i'll buy it from them...if they don't have a particular knife then i'd probably find it elsewhere...

but that black sere2000 looks too good to pass up...hmmm...now that my rats have arrived i have to start thinking about that...

They had what I wanted.
They responded to my questions with quick and friendly emails.
Paying with my Visa was no problem.
Their prices were good.
They didn't try to rip me off with shipping charges.

Pretty much all I could ask for.

Right now I'm looking at a Rainbow Chive or maybe even a Rainbow Leek. How do I explain yet another knife to my wife?

I live about 70 miles from NGK. On a whim I decided to drive over there on a saturday a couple of weeks ago. The people there were very nice. They let me handle many of the showcase knives. When I mentioned that I have regularly shopped their web site, they promptly offered me web pricing on all of my purchases. So I bought an H1 Benchmade dive knife, another SAK and a really nice Spyderco hat.

The most interesting thing about NGK is that it is in a Pharmacy that actually still has one of those old fashioned soda jerks. I sat and had a milkshake and met a local politician named Morgan Morris. To bad he didn't win the election though.

Anyway, I also would highly recommend New Graham to anyone who is looking for a great knife selection at very fair prices from good people.

I really wanted to get my Camillus Domnitaor from them, but they were out of stock. Sent an email to see if they might have any but I didn't get a response, but with all the spam I get and my filters it could have been lost on it's way to me. Sounds like a fun place to visit, but it's an 8 hour drive for me.

I have purchased from them a few time also and really like them and never had a problem. They have great customer service and good prices as well. I also like the little bandaid dispenser.

what is the email address you guys use? I sent an email using the email address listed on the site - mdye@newgraham.com a month ago, but have not had a reply. I sent a follow-up email, and didn't receive a reply too.

Is something wrong with their server? I'm in singapore so I can't just pick up the phone and call. I believe they have good service, but somehow, the email thing just isn't working for me....

btw, I was looking to get a couple of the black onyx tinkers...

Almost ordered a BM705 yesterday but no one picked up the phone(both numbers). Also sent an email but no response as of yet.

Thanks for the good words guys..
Spyken...not sure what is up with emails...we strive to be timely in our responses.
Mistakaroo....you emailed me at home...unfortunately my home email is on the fritz,,,your response is hung up in my computer..as for the phones...we have only have four incoming lines...afterhours, there is an answering machine, but it does not take messages.
We should have plenty of the 705's
My appologies to both Spyken and Mistakaroo if we have dropped the ball here.
Regards, Mike

Agreed.

I have been dealing with NGP for the past number of weeks, and they have been great :)

I contacted them after "doing the rounds" looking for a good old fashioned decent shop to do business with, and that had had good feedback from the likes of this forum. NGP were it.

The people are friendly, curteous and responsive to both questions and orders. ( Actually, perhaps this is bad .. I've spent more than I care to mention here as a direct result ;) )

If I ever get the chance to take another trip to the USA and am in the area, I will definately pop in to say Hi.

Good store, good people, good value for your money. What else is there to say. :D

mike (dye),
which email address should I use then? I would like to order some black onyx tinkers as christmas prezzies....
thanks - perhaps you could drop me an email?
cheers,

New Grahams, is definately one of the good ones. no problems with my international order and having it shipped to my place in the States. pleaeure to deal with them and i will be buying more from them in the future, specifically, the Sppyderfly (preordered) and a BM42... i ordered a BM42SS one week before the 42SSC came out... could have saved myself some $$$. oh well...
