Thumbstud locking glues

I had to remove the thumbstuds from my FK P1 to reprofile it to lower angles.
I noticed some reddish stuff on the very top of thumbstuds' threads, for sure a glue.
Now, given that I should remove thumbst. even for touching up blade, would you recommend me using a glue to keep 'em locked? If so, what kinda glue?Urethane based or others?

TIA

You may have to use a wood burning tool or soldering iron heated up to hold the hot tip on the screw head for about 40 seconds or more before trying to remove it. This will allow you to twist the screw out easier if you can't get it on the first try.
