I am pretty new to the whole Chris Reeve scene, and have my first Sebenza on the way. I have noticed some people have stripped the blue off of their thumbstuds to make them a nice silver finish. I was wondering if there was an easy way to do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are also silver thumbstuds. CRK can change them.
The blue ones will wear off quickly but probably not to a perferct silver finish.

Hi

I don't know the price but it won't be high. Insured Shipping will probably be more expensive.
Just send Them an e-mail and ask for it.
Remember that you can also have a double thumbstud if you want.

Just use it! The blue ano will wear right off. :D

a little metal polish will get it to silver. Works on the spacers too.

I'd just use it and let it wear naturally. I think it looks cool over time with finished on knives. I have a few benchmades with the matte black pocket clips, those also look very nice worn. It shows the knife is used. Scratches look ugly, but worn parts look nice.

I drifted the stud out and chocked it into a drill and took some polish on a cloth to it. Easy. Then used a mallet to gently drive the stud back in.
