I have a small Classic and was wondering how the single lug thumb stud was fastened to the knife? I am thinking of changing it to something a bit more thumb friendly out of Ti. I know Mrs Reeves gave a great bit of info on why they chose the small lug but if there is only one thing I don't really like about the Classic it is the thumb stud.

Thanks for any info

Craig

Its One Piece and is Press Fit on a small arbor press. The CRK DVD shows them installing them. The double thumb stud is a two-piece design.

Not sure if this bit of info helps you, but it may benefit someone.

I bought a single lug small Sebeza recently but wanted to add a lug. CRK added one for me for $35 plus shipping. Came to $48 (but that's not including what I paid to ship it to them).

Costly lug huh?

CRK does charge $35 for a new lug ( different color ) or a double lug + shipping, thats always been their policy. Its not bad for a double lug, but to just have one changed to a different color its a bit much. Just depends on what people want I guess

Thanks guys! I was pretty sure I had read they were a press fit but could not find the thread where I had read that...or thought I had.

I appreciate the info!
