Thunderstorm Mini chef

I just finished up one of my mini chefs, and I thought I would share.
It is 5" utility size chef knife, with a .095" 15n20 blade with a hand rubbed finish. The handle is Thunderstorm kevlar, with black and red liners. Let me know what you guys think.

Is it a trick of the light, or is that an asymmetric grind?

It's just an illusion. It is full flat ground on both sides.

Looks like a good little rock chopper. I like the kevlar handle and the black pins. Does the handle have texture, or it is completely smooth?

Kalaeb, the handle is very smooth and looks way better in person. This material has a cool "flash" to it in person.

Looks great but I like the look of the thunderstorm kevlar very much. Others seem pretty divided on it, just like buttermilk, licorice or the Grateful dead. If I had the lucre I could proudly find a spot for your knife in my kitchen at home or at work.
