Aw man!!!! One kidney 145 bucks plus shipping.

I love that.........

Bawanna! Can I borrow a kidney or a gizzard maybe. or anything you got two of? 16oz. egads!

I had been away from my computer for several hours, and when I happened to refresh my HI page, this showed up! I don't know why crystalEyes didn't jump on this one, but I'm happy to get it! Thankis, crystalEyes, you could have sharked it! But like some have posted, perhaps sometimes the blade chooses you?

WOW , seriously? 18" OAL, and 16oz? That must be one quick blade, gotta be a little careful with the 1/4" spine, but knowing the kamis, it's probably already overbuilt anyways, which means "deadly" with that magical less than oz per inch.

I was tempted! If it was a horn handle I may have done it! Knife money is in short supply these days too. Enjoy your new blade and review this one if so inclined.

I think 5160 differential hardened at 1/4" will be plenty-given that when I do the bend test on a 1/4" 5160 test blade 8" long I have to put a 3' breaker bar on it, and I'm scrambling a bit...hilts give out looooong before the blade in my experience...i like where this is going

FYI - I know what dui chirra and tin chirra mean, but I didn't know what "Yek Chirra" means, so I emailed Yangdu. She responded: "Yek means 1 in Nepalese language and chirra means fuller
This knife has single fuller on both side of blade and this is why Thamar kami name this knife Yek chirra"

I need to go back to chirra school cause it sure looks like two to me? Maybe one is convex like the Single Fuller Chitlangi and playing tricks on mine eyes? Still love it! Cant wait to see it!...uh i mean the pics;)

This guy is knocking it out of the park with these traditional flavored khuks. Stunning!

I agree! I just love the classic lines of his Dui Chirra and this Yek Chirra, both the shape of the blades and the elegant curve to the drop of the handle. I'm so weak - I just can't resist buying these knives when I have the opportunity. The HIKV has got me baaaad.
