You said it, Steve:eek: I have to say, that I LOVE that villager. Beautiful lines. It reminds me of the the Yeti Hunter knives from a few days back. I'm still kicking myself for missing those:o

Fantastic work by the kamis:thumbup:

I wondered what the change in blade coloration near the Chitlangi Bowie cross guard was -- any ideas?

Email sent on Chitlangi Bowie.
If no one else has taken it, I'll tell you when I get it.

My guess right now is since it's a villager, the surface blamishes haven't been buffed out, and it almost looks like they drew back (softened) that area to keep it tough so it won't break.

looks like the light is glancing off due to a bit of a different degree of polish around the guard area. this is pretty common.

WOO HOO! I got it!
I'm there, dude!

The giant Chit Bowie has been the Holy Grail for me, man am I excited!

LOL, I just figured out I bought a KNIFE that weighs almost 4 (FOUR!!) pounds and is only one inch short of being as big as my 25" kukzilla. . .LOL

Should make a good camp knife. . .:D

Thank you for giving a nice home for Chitlangi Bowie

No one has snagged that villager yet?

That's one of the most stunning villagers that I've seen. The simplicity of it is its elegance.

I thought the BAS would have been the first to go. I was surprised the Chitlangi was still there. Our power was knocked out by Fay for a day and I was all pissed, sure that I'd missed my chance.

For all those guys out there hesitant to jump in the kukri pool, that BAS is a good mid-size kukri at a great price. Good place to get started (and help Yangdu on her trip).
