I had the KMG on full blast today... :D

154CM Rigging Knives - Various kitchen knives in AEBL and 52100. Handles prepped, scratch free to 80 grit and squared up all around.

It never ceases to amaze me that at this point this funky looking conglomerate will become a knife. :)

.315" S7

Should I leave this .360" 5160 Competition Chopper design alone or turn it into this chopper design? (drawn on the blade with blue dykem) It would be a bit pointier (hard drawing with Dykem) and as you can barely see with a bit of belly.

D, that S7 blade is a monster! Space alien archeologists are going to find that thing a million years from now and say " That Daniel Fairly was a maaaaaad maaaaan!" :D My vote the Competition Chopper is reverse tanto or a chisel tip like a Razel. Has anyone tried a modified Kukri design for a competition chopper?

:D :D :D

Thanks! That S7 one is chunky all around, I'm excited about it.

Cool stuff too, I like the reverse tanto tip and all.

I bet a Kukri shape would do well, they are just scary in the right hands.

I like the top knife in the first pic. Looks like a good slicer. Any details?

Thanks! It's spoken for but that one is a Ko Deba (small/tall utility) in AEBL steel (maybe 52100, I need to doublecheck the thickness) about .100" thick IiRC, double black canvas micata over white G10 liners, black micarta pins.

The green canvas micarta Petty (least tall blade) is available and it will be very nice for all around utility in the kitchen, slicing and trickier cuts like boning. The handle is blasted for texture with contrasting polished tang, etc.

Thanks IMWILSON, great to see you here!

Buy it, Wilson.
There's a detail!! :D

lmao! :D

Hey Daniel. I check the DFK forum almost every day, though I don't post very often.

I've been busy lately between helping people out and the new baby... things are starting to get going again though so look out I want to get this place blowing up! :D
