Yay.. its.. thursday.. again. :D

So far, this winter.. SUCKS BALLS.. can I say that?

March BEST be better.. I'ma freak out.. we have some plans to bail around me and wifey's birthday (4 days apart close to spring break), so make this horrible weather and horrible winter sickness GO BACK TO HELL.. hah.

4 day weekend for us.. but that just means, 4 days at home with all of us sick, YES!

I have tunnel vision lately, sorry.. I see sick people.

^ get well yo!

Worn out here, just in from the shop a few minutes ago. The grinding room is re-arranged and functional again... lots of projects are near completion!

OK, if you like that tune, you'll probably like this one, too. Very Black Keys-like, although the chord digression in the chorus sounds like classic Led Zep. I think I posted it here before, but it's such a fun piece to listen to, and to play along with on acoustic guitar, here it is again. Have a great weekend Daniel. Spring is just around the corner. :)

^ I remember that, good stuff. I had to look up the band... was thinking South Austin, they are from New South Wales! I'll have to listen to more of their stuff.

Zeppelin, maybe the best ever.

It's Friday but here's a classic. I think Jimmy Page got the opening flanged guitar tone by doubling the track and literally holding the flange of the tape reel... so cool!

Presence... a good one!

^ Page was genius, he uses a Sears Silvertone amp to record Led Zeppelin I... the early acoustic work was done on an inexpensive Sears guitar. (I own the same models of both! lol) I think Bonham was the best drummer ever too... lots of talent there!

Speaking of weekend weather. Here in Tucson it's gonna be near 90 F so I may go to the mountains. At 9000 feet it will be an icy 60 degrees.

^ That sounds like my area but I'm on the chilly side at 7500 feet. Just down the road there is no snow! :D

I too use a few silvertone amps, such great tone! Too bad people figured out how good they sound! I bought my first twin twelve piggyback in '97 for $50, still my main recording setup!

Thanks for Page info, Daniel. Very cool.
It's the Lewisburg Knife Show this weekend! Who's going?
:)
