Ti-84 kydex sheath?

I started thinking yesterday that if kydex could be used to holster so many things, why couldn't I use it to make a sheath for my TI-84 calculator? Of course, I have no experience at all with actually WORKING with the stuff, (in fact, I have no "tools" whatsoever leave a rusty hacksaw) but I thought I might actually do something in my spare time. This is all theoretical, of course, but how would I go about making a calculator sheath? I was thinking about a button snap release, but I was worried that while "shaping" the kydex, the TI-84 would melt. Anyone ever tried anything like that? Thanks for the replies, and forgive me for my naive ponderings.;)

make a mold of the calculator, then use that to make a model of it. or else you could just try wrapping it in tin foil and hope for the best.
