Ti anodizing question.

Hey guys, I have a Sebenza coming and it has the silver ti thumb lug and ti lanyard bar. If you don't know already, CRK press fits their studs into the blades.

I had a Sebbie with blue ti that I really loved and I got to wondering. If I tried to anodize the lug, would the electricity pass through the titanium, through the blade and alter the surface of the other side the same as the side that I use to apply the clip?

I wouldn't even try if it won't work because I can send it in to have a new lug pressed in, but that costs $ and I'd be without my new knife for a time.

Thanks for any insight. I've never anodized titanium.
