Hi folks -

I have had my JK Ti Frame-lock at my side constantly since it arrived early this past week.

Yesterday I had the chance to put the knife to the test for the first time.

I volunteer at a local Jaycee's "International Beer Fest" as a beer pourer, and as such, I have to open many boxes of specialty beers. Many of these beers are in boxes that are taped up for shipping long distances, as were the beers that I was pouring yesterday.

The JK worked flawlessly, the lock is strong and locks up tighter the tighter your grip.

You can easily open and close the knife with one hand.

I have been carrying my JK down in my pocket instead of using the pocket clip in most cases, as the pocket clip allows about 1/3 of the knife to stick up out of my pocket.
That is great in a crowd where people are not put off by someone carrying a knife, but at work and at the beer fest, I chose to be a little more discreet.

The knife is smooth on all edges, and it is relatively light (4.7 oz), so it carry's down in pocket very well.

The 01 blade is everything you love about John's fixed blade knives - it has a great edge when delivered, and it just get's better with a little use.

I still will take the knife apart and smooth up the action (I do this with all my frame-locks as I like to use a certain grease on the action), but I also want to get pictures of the "workins" for my review.

Good stuff, this knife. It is certainly the equal of any of my Ti frame-locks in terms of function and craftsmanship. JK lovers will appreciate the "JK Style" of the knife.

Here are some group shots with other Ti Frame-locks -

The JK stands proudly in this group of fine knives, and this is John's first production frame-lock! I would get one ordered if you have not already done so, supporters.
best regards -

That is really impressive. John did a heck of a job building this knife to fit right in with those others.

Only three of these out there. Yours, Aly`s, and mine. Aly and I have been carrying ours daily.
