Okay, so Boker can have a Ti framelock with a CERAMIC blade made (albeit in China) with a 50-55 dollar street pricepoint, how about them or someone else doing it with a proper steel blade for a similar price?

Generally speaking, you get what you pay for. If you want a fairly "inexpensive" Ti framelock that is a quality piece, then I would recommend a Spyderco Sage 2. Here's mine (along with my CF Sage 1):

My point is Boker used to make similar knives with either ceramic or steel blades at similar prices. If they produced the Anti-MC with a 440C or better steel blade in the same shape for 50-60 bucks I'd be all over it!

How about a Ti framelock made in Taiwan using ATS-34? CRKT made the S2 in that exact combination. I don't see them around very often, but when I do they are always $75 or under. You can also check with kershawguy to see if he has any Ti JYD II blems left. I think they're about $75 for an all To framelock and a laminated SG2 blade.

Yeah, good suggestions... I'm also considering a CRKt Eros. I haven't had a JYD in hand yet. They look kinda' funky, but looks can deceive.

The Eros is tiny. Its an okay little knife though. The JYD = 1 of my 2 favorite knives of all time. Just amazingly comfortable, great blade shape, excellent flipper. If it wasn't for that damn clip it would be perfect. I had to send mine to STR for a deep pocket clip and tip up flip.

Couldn't agree more
