butch....that is sweet!.....it's like a high tech gentleman's razor.....looks cool.....ryan

Hell yes !!!! I shave using straight razor, and that one is just perfect IMHO. A nice blend between old tradition and modern materials. Most excellent job.

Very NICE Butch! I think you'd be equally talented as pounder too.

on the next go aroung i think i ll be making a sorta U shapes black spacer that way i dont have to tap an many holes in TI (broke 3 dam 2-56 taps on that handle)
i also think i will try and make a longer "tail" on the next ones this blade was the last of the first 5 i have done so its back to the grinder
BTW thanks all

How much does it weigh?

I was thinking it looked a little hefty. I bet carbon fiber would save some weight, and maybe removing some material from the ricasso.
It's really cool man, like Sweeney Todd meets Predator.

WOW, amazing grind there, love that!
just saw Sweeney Todd tonight, daughter's been bugging me
to rent it, I had to preview it to make sure it wasn't TOO horrific
what a story, but wow, what a blade...!

thanks for sharing!

on the next one to keep the mass down i hope to add 2 of the larger holes between the blade stop and the but screw taking the mass away closer to the pivot will not make the razor feel that much lighter but the 2 i hope to add will help greatly
G10 Vs CF not too much difference in mass. the little i used are ground away inside where you cant see to save weight and make room for the blade
biggest thing i hope will be the use of .080 Ti not the .125 that i used for this one

OK Butch, bring 'er on down to the restaurant, I'm ready :D
