Ti JYD II SG2 with detent ball wearing out

I really can't describe it as anything else. My Ti SG2 JYDII is rough to open, as the ball detent is almost worn to the Titanium. I'm not aware if I've been flipping it open more than any other knife, but I've never had a similar problem with my other Ti frame locks.

Is this a warrenty issue? Is there a way to pop in a new ball detent?

The knife will flip open, but the grinding feel is disconcerting, and a bit worrisome.

Anyone else have this issue?

I've taken apart and modded close to a dozen of these and most had little to no detent ball. I polished up the internals and that helps with smoothing the action out. Pretty sure it was a acknowledged error on kershaws end.

Some detents were "squared-off" The detent ball is harder than the steel on the outside of the blade. One of mine has the same issue--you should be fine.
