STR, I've seen that you've done plenty of work on Kershaw knives. Have you ever disassembled an original titanium Tyrade? I have one that I'd like to put a different clip on, but I have no clue how to take it apart, since it has those carbon fiber strips glued to the handles. Any help is greatly appreciated. THanks.

I'm by no means of the word an expert like Steve in this field however I do know the answer to your question. The hardware that is holding the titanium slabs together is underneath the carbon fiber inserts on your handle. In order to take it apart or make adjustments you need to pull those inlays off first. I have not yet done it to mine however there was a thread a while back where a guy heated it up a bit with a hair dryer until the adhesive was tacky again and then just carefully peeled it off. Take your time and go nice an easy though as it would suck to snap one of those inlays. Good luck.
