Ti Kwaiken edge clearance?

Hiya folks, just wondering if there would a enough distance between the blade edge and the top of the scale if I were to grind the edge of the liner flush to scale?

Or is it going to be too tight (eg too little distance) and cause inadvertent hand cutting/blood letting.

Just got my VG10 model today.

The upraised liner allows clearance against the prior issues of inadvertent blood letting!
