Ti-Lite 4" CPM S35VN

Hi everyone,

Newbie here, sorry if I post at the wrong forum.
Not long ago I ordered my Ti-Lite 4" from a local knife dealer, being specific for the XHP steel.
But when the knife came, its in CPM-S35VN. Its engraved on the blade where the usual CTS-XHP is engraved. Just wanted to ask whether Cold Steel does manufacture Ti-Lites in S35VN or I got myself a counterfeit blade :( I can post pictures soon when I get back home. Thanks!
 
According to the 2017 catalog, the 4" Aluminum model is S35VN, while the 6" is XHP...both G-10 models are XHP, and both Zy-Ex models are AUS8A.
 
So that's a new variation? It used to be CTS-XHP for the 4". Are they also doing away with the gray coating to the 4"...hey OP, mind shooting up a pic of the new 4" ti-lite?

I don't know how I feel about this change.

Sorry for the delay, I'm currently out of town for holidays. Will post pics once I get back. But yeah, I was surprised they came out in S35VN. Originally booked the XHP but a different steel came up from my dealer.
