Ti lite pocket clip

Just the back story tl;dr: So a couple months ago I ordered a clip for my 6" ti lite well it never came. So I decided to call and follow up today. The guy I spoke to was great but said they were waiting for the clips for the 6 inch. So I asked if they had the 4" pocket clips, he said yes but their not the same and he can send me one but I'll have to tap the liners. As far as I know they are the same.

So my question is are the pocket clips for the Ti lite 4" and 6" different? (i have and older aus8a 6" with zytel and 7 hole pattern scales)

Pocket clips from cold steel generally take very long to come to you. This isn't so much a flaw of customer service, as it is a fact that it is logistically unrealistic to get small parts out like that on a regular basis. Easier ways of getting one would be to send in your knife for sharpening without its pocket clip, and include a note saying you need a pocket clip. Seems way faster. Ti lite's generally have the exact same pocket clip in terms of design, just with different finishes (polished, satin, black, color-matched, etc.). Since I haven't owned very many ti lites, I can't tell you any differences between the clips as far as where they mount. Unless the CS representative was lying (which I highly doubt he/she was), I assume the 6 inch version probably has slightly thicker scales than the 4 inch or something to that extent, where the concern is how deep the attached part of the pocket clip sits in the scales. As far as I know, the only ti lite pocket clip that was ever different was the original zytel-handle ti lite, which had a thin "skeletonized" pocket clip (you'd know if you had that one)

Yeah I know they take a long time. My original reason for calling was just to follow up and see if maybe I could buy one or whatever. He told me the clips we're different but they look the same so I wasn't sure. I was hoping someone here might of had both and could edumacate me.

Anyone needing a clip, please email cameron@coldsteel.com with what you need and your shipping information and I will personally put it in an envelope for you and get it out ASAP. Skip the line.

Imagine that......the guy that works at cold steel, who made my knife in question knew the difference........sorry for doubting i can be a asshat sometimes. Thanks for the picks and the offer. Greatly appreciated.
