I sent in my old Ti-lite to have it looked at and get an estimate for refurbishing it. It is from the Made in Japan era and was the first knife I ever owned with a titanium handle--or titanium anything, really--and it was always one of my faves even as I wore it out. Instead of an estimate, I got a box back with my knife in it with all the issues addressed, and someone even drilled it out a bit to put in a new thumb stud like I had asked. The turnaround time was far less than the six weeks they estimate on the website as well. So I want to say a big thank you to Cold Steel and write out yet another positive post on the forum on how they really stand by their knives.
