Ti-lite troubles

I recently aquired a second hand vintage Ti-lite with the titanium handles, unfortunatly its missing the pocket clip and screws as well as the thumb stud.
I have put in a parts request to CS,but nothing has come of it.
My questions are:-Will the screws and thumb stud from a new Ti-lite fit the old?
Are there different lengths and sizes of screws used between the Titanium handles and the zytel handles or are they all the same?
Can I use screws and clip from a different knife,eg Pocket Bushman?
Any and all help much appreciated.

As far as I know, the hardware (clip, screws, thumb stud) for the newer 4" Ti-Lites should fit the older ones. Best thing to do with CS is to call them (despite them having that online parts form). The straight pocket clips from other knives (Pocket Bushman, ProLite, etc,) may work as well, but I don't know for sure.

I broke the pocket clip on mine, but if you don't find a thumb-stud soon then I can send you the one off mine. I would have to look for it first though. Just let me know.

The screws from a zytel tilite wont fit,too long and too thin.I havent tried any from the alloy handle version as yet.
The thumb stud fitted no worries, but did hit on the frame when closing,a slight machining would fix that though.
The clip from a pocket bushman fits as do most straight clips ive tried, but useless without screws!
I also tried screws from my lawman,no go,too fat.
So if i get an alloy handle tilite all the parts "should" fit,but if i do that i may as well use it as it has better steel than my older titanium version!
I wish cs had customer service.
Thanks to both for your help.

Best thing to do with CS is to call them

Having done that a few times all I can say is . . . at least you will have a nice friendly person to talk to occasionally, through the months, as often as you like . . . who will tell you just what you want to hear.

If you want a pocket clip, screws, and stuff like that . . .
You will have just as good of luck if you kill a three legged chicken and say some magical incantations and expect them to then appear out of thin air.

At least that was my experience after months of nada.
Nada.

PS:

I have two Ti Lites, a six and a four and prefer them without the clip. The handle just feels better in the hand without the clip. The clip is in the way as apposed to my Griptillian which I prefer with the clip on.

We are talking hard use. (I modded the heck out of both of mine; they are tools now not SD knives)

I have the same model Ti-lite, and the lock was getting bad. I sent it back to Cold Steel for warranty service, and asked if I could get a replacement for the thumb stud that had disappeared years ago. It did still have the clip, but I got a package back in the mail with the lock tuned up, a new thumb stud, and a nice sharpening job with no charge. Sending it in to CS might get you exactly what you need without fiddling with spare parts or accidentally damaging a screw hole for just some postage and insurance.

I have the same knife. I took the clip off, which I still have but no screws. I was going to sell it and figured it would be worth more complete with clip. I put in a request with cold steel. I guess I will call them next Monday when they are done doing inventory. Do most knives have unique screws? I live near Spyderco I was pondering going up there and asking for screws that might fit my cold steel. It’ll be interesting to see what they do. It’s an extremely cool life and everything still functions great but I’m going to start selling some of knives because I’m getting pretty old and I don’t want my knives going in an estate sale. And my wife wouldn’t know the first thing about selling my Knives. My kids wouldn’t have time.

The clip screws on my Ti-Lite 4 are 2 millimeter diameter, and the threaded length is 6 mm.

On all of my Ti-Lite 6's, the clip screws are 2 mm diameter, and the threaded length is 7 mm long.

All are T6 torx drive.
