I'm new so bare with me :p

I've been looking at the CS Ti-Lite Zytel folder and I have decided that I want one. My question is: Should I get the 6" or 4"? (Ignoring money as a factor) At first I was just gonna get the longer one but then when I started thinking about the Dimensions, a 7" handle just seemed kinda unnecessary and kinda clumsy since it is actually long enough for me to fit 2 hands around it :p The longer blade would be nice but I was curious about the opinions of everone else on the subject of folder lengths since I am not quite sure what I think about the longer handle. Of course the handle has to be longer to accompany the longer blade but I don't know if I should even bother. I plan to carry it around concealed in my pocket so that is also another factor to consider. I don't plan on doing anything real heavy or extreme; opening boxes and packages and in the rare and hopefully non-occuring scenario in which I would have to use it to defend myself. Or maybe I should stop over-thinking about it too much :p

I wouldn't exactly call the Ti-Lite a "Traditional" knife. You'd get a better response in the General Discussion forum.

Welcome to BF though. ;)

Welcome to BF. I am moving this thread to the General Discussion Forum.

Get the 4" model. Its a lot handier and is a better cutter because the blade is thinner. For everydat tasks the 6" model is overkill, but the 4" works perfectly. If you like a really pointy knife then the zytel Ti-lite is probably the best deal around.

Ya sorry about posting in wrong section and thanks for moving it somewhere more appropriate. :o

Danzz, thanks for the info, I didn't realise there was any diffrence in blade thickness between them but if the shorter one can cut better I will probably go with that. And ya, I do like that nice pointy blade :D

No problem GS. I hope you enjoy this place at least as much as I do.
