Was a user, but its in very nice condition. I called CRK to see if they can refinish it and either re-anodize the blue lock or replace it . . . they said they can't refinish it or do anything about the blue lock bar as they only have a few lock bars around for warranty purposes.

Its going to look sweet after I put my mirrored Wicked Edge on it.

Its going to be a user for me too, but I do like to keep my knives pristine. Anyone know of a member or company here that I could send it to and get the finish redone and the lockbar blued?

As to my first impression: for me its a true gentleman's carry. I thought it would be bigger and heavier, but its a great size and weight. I always thought CRK should something between the large and small Seb 21's and for me this is it. Too bad they stopped producing them.

I regret selling my blue steam ti lock that was a gift. But I had to. Due to financial reasons at the time when working on my career. Never heard back from the buyer after multiple attempts to buy it back. Dont blame him.:( It wasn't exactly my style. But certainly unique. I sold it just prior to the price boom for a out $450-550 iirc

Just found this . Most photos until the 3rd page are expired unless you have magic. An odd knife that I wish was still in my gun safe.

That was definitely a beauty Matt. But it was sold for a good reason.

No doubt. Life for the whole family has improved drastically. It's one of those many sacrifices we all make at some point. It's just stuff after all :)

Merry christmas bro. Hope your all well

It looks really nice to me. I would be reluctant to trust it to a third party or alter it in anyway... best blade to handle size ever! Not for everyone. Merry Christmas all! Bart

I agree Bart. But I'm glad its a user, so I can "use" it. I'll still snag another one thats LNIB when I see one to add to my CRK collection. Going to mirror it shortly and post pics.
Went to cut off a thin plastic tag wire on a gift that we got for my grandchild and it would not cut through it. I hate that . At least if it was a CRK factory edge it would have cut through it like butter. But it was a user and I'm sure sharpened poorly a few times. I was able to get its edge back up a little by a few strokes on a ceramic kitchen steel, but that doesn't last long.

Keep in mind this Ti-Lock was purchased as a user and will continue to be a user . . . only now sporting its new mirrored edge!
Off CRK's site "We sharpen our folding knives to an 18°-20° angle".
I first had to re-profile the edge for the Wicked Edge system and did this one at 19 degrees per side.

It looks grainy, but thats just the reflection off the grain of the playing card as it was taken on higher zoom.
I have a little more work to do near the heel area which is always hard for me to get it clear first time around even though I use a digital microscope. Spend too much time near the heel and its too easy to develop a recurve in that area.

Definitely been there brother. Can always buy more stuff, but can sometimes only make those decisions for the family once. You’re a good man.

We are all good and ready for tomorrow. Hope you guys have a great one as well!

Update: Since I keep all my knife collection in pristine condition . . . I sent my Ti-Lock which was a user by the seller, out to Josh at R.E.K. (Razor Edge Knives) for him to do some restorative work on the Ti-Lock handle's finish. He said he can also send out the faded blue lock bar to be re-anodized too. Josh saved a CRK blade of mine that I scratched up the face on my WE system not knowing I was slipping off the edge on the down stroke (and this is after 100 plus blades under my belt). Now I use 4 cheap custom made by Airscape on the WE forum plastic adjustable stops (2 are pictured in post #9 above) on the rod's top and bottom to limit the stones travel from slipping off the edge. Josh is a Master Craftsman and I recommend him highly (I was even referred to him by Clay, the owner of the WE system) Josh sent the blade back to me looking like new. I thought I've seen posts by Josh here on the Blade Forums (but I don't remember what name he uses here) I think he is also a member here.
I'll re-post pics after he returns the Ti-Lock to me.
