Not sure if this has been covered in previous posts, but here goes; I'm contemplating the purchase of a Ti Lock to compliment my growing stable of Chris Reeve knives. I noticed in one particular vendor's ad, the knife is advertised as the Ti Lock ver. 2.0. Can anyone elaborate on what the differences might be between the Ti Lock & the Ti Lock ver. 2.0? Does this mean other vendors don't have the ver. 2.0 if it isn't listed that way in their ad?

Any help would be appreciated......

Can you PM me the venders name and I will check it out....?

Edit:

I just found it. I do not see any noticeable differences. I am sure something has changed being is its a Version 2. It might be a stop pin, bushing, etc, something internal, rather than an obvious outside cosmetic change.

I thought the second version designated the change between stonewashed and beadblasted handles

I am pretty sure it was the difference in the finish on the handle. To. My knowledge there haven't been other changes.

The first 50 or so had a Beadblasted handle like the sebenza, after that they switched to the common stonewashed look your used to seeing. The stonewashed is the norm, save for those first 50 or so. When they came out and I bought one, mine was stonewashed and I emailed CRK and asked because at the time, the blasted one was shown on most sites. This was the info they gave to me......Great knife. I sold mine long ago to fund a sebenza. Hope to get another at some point. The locking mechanism is pretty cool and after some practice you can operate it one handed. If I had One gripe about it, it would be the price. I just personally think it should be more plain sebenza priced. But thats just me. I would rather spend my $$ on a nice inlay sebenza or CGG/UG than this. But it is a unique design and something every Huge CRK fan should at least try once.....lol.
