Hi!
What do you think of the ”Ti-lock? It is not produced any more and I have never had one in my hand but have finally one on its way to me.

Thanks!

I think they are cool. The design is unconventional, but to me it's sort of like a "concept car" - neat design, almost art, and lots of cool little features you might miss at first. That said, I don't like it enough to own one forever at the price the command, now that they are discontinued. More Ti-Lock's for everyone else, I guess? :) Congrats, and please post some photos when it arrives!

Never heard of it until now. Looks like a lot of pocket fluff and everything you cut could gunk up the lock bar on the back of the blade. Trying to figure what looks like the thumb studs but seems to be the part you lift to open the lock. Seems like if you use your thumb to swing the blade open you will eventually bend the lock bar off center. Same as unlocking it you would have to use equal pressure on the studs to lift it opening the lock. Or it wouldn't be the first time in my life I've been completely wrong.

Ti Locks are super under rated! It's the "Medium" everyone keeps begging for. Solid, functional, easy to manipulate, and best handle to blade length ratio ever, in a CRK! Some people go GAGA for the clips!

Wrong on all counts. I have one. It’s a good knife. Easy to open and close with one hand or two. You can use the bar for thumb opening. The bar stays in place. Crap does not get in between the lockbar and blade or the hole. I thought it might too. One of the best blade to handle ratios there can be in a folder. The pivot system uses bearings.

Thank you, I was hoping someone would help me understand how these work.

I have it now and slowly learn how to play it. Very nice, very well made! Unique! From the ”golden years”. The seller told it is from 2011, but it has no date, missed in the process. Have you heard about it before? No fake by the way.

Do you have a photo? What is the finish on it?

Like this one, standard version. https://nordicknives.com/products/ti-lock-1
I havent taken it apart, but the former owner told me that it has no number. I guess that it is on the same place as on Sebbies.
Not quite, the Ti-Lock is marked further in the slab closer to the standoff...it can be tough to make out without getting just the right angle. This one is marked "A 11".

I will post, ti is stone washed.
I know that the first 50 or so bead blasted ti-locks are missing the date stamp, but I haven’t heard of any of the stonewashed missing date codes.

If anyone knows otherwise, I’d love to know.
