Hello,

the ergo and the design of Spyderco, the aura of Chris Reeve...:thumbup::thumbup:
after 12 years of waiting here is my Spydergrail:

MillieTi2.jpg

The sensual titanium handles are beyond tank built and the blade is vorpal: this is pocket lightsaber.
I will write a review soon and reedit the old Fred Perrin/Nemo review for the occasion.

Cheers
Nemo

Congratulations. Great photo by the way. Makes me even more anxious for mine to arrive, (preordered 9/30/09).

It would be my Grail knife as well if they made it in a lefty version. But they don't. :(

Sorry to hear that. :(

Those titanium handles, which are beefier and heavier are just great for the drop latch opening...
Very addictive knife to open with.... KSCHLAK !!! Elegance... :D

I've never used a knife with titanium handles....any problem with slippery grip like with SS ?

- regards

I find titanium to be grippier than SS in general. The knife's ergos matter with all Ti knives IMHO. The Sage 2 is a great example of Ti scales not having a grip issue IMO. When it's in my hand I have no sensation of losing control at all.The Sage 2 is hard to beat for an all Ti EDC, all things considered.

I have a Ti Millie coming and look forward to getting it in my hands. I won't be a sure bet fanboy even though I love the Military though. I'll give my honest opinion after I get it . . .

;)

And last but not least:
titanium handles don't shew your pocket like abbrasive G10 can.

I got countless pants ruined by tacticak G10 clipped to it.
Titanium is much more pants friendly !;)

i own one as well. first military. came so sharp. i shaved a hug X into my friends hairy arm.
i think the handles have a very light beadblast because indigo from my jeans rub onto it.
