TI Pen Help

Looking for a TI Pen. About a year ago there was a plan posted then some talk about production. Anyone making a pen that could be used as a backup when a knife can not be carried or practical for those of us not allowed to carry at work.

The Lightfoot Ti pen ... That project still hasn't come to fruition ... based on latest status, it may never. They're still working on it, though.

Until then, the generally-accepted fighting pen is this one:

Yes Doug the shaft and point area of the pen are very strong in the plan they used a small space pen refill so it was functional but could be used for other applications besides writting.

Thanks Joe what model do you suggest? Any other suggestions? I had a Rotring 600 but was not happy with it. The tip of the pen began to seperate from the shaft.

I haven't held one of those pens, and am not a big believer in pocket sticks generally. But, among the folks that have held them, they tend to favor the End Mill, which apparently has enough texture to keep it secure but no so much that it bothers you:

The tighe pen is nice but a little pricy for my needs. I would cry if I lost it as I lost my last carry pen.

Thanks Andrew that is more of what I was looing for. That might just be in box under the tree at the end of the month. Does anyone own one?
