I bought a used Ti salsa a couple of years ago. I've done alot of things with it and it's definately a beater.
- 2 mm or so of vertical blade play.
- Pivot doesn't stay tight (needs loctite).
- Increased tension (bent) loackbar, no travel left on lockbar.
- Heat colored one side blue.
- Taken it apart enough times I think I lost the screw washers. (Still has nylon pivot washers).
- various handle scratches, etc.
I'm offering this at a good price as a beater, it would not be fair to try and get SPyderco to fix it. Use as is. I still trust the lock, yes, it has play, but I don't think it will unlock.
