TI ZDP Leek Problem

I was just wondering if anyone else here has had the same problem with there Ti ZDP leek. After taking apart for cleaning I noticed that right near the blade pivot where the Torsion bar rubs it has rubbed a hole right through the Ti to the pivot. I'm not sure if this is really hurting the performance or not but it doesn't seem to be a good thing. I love this knife its a great knife hasn't given me any problems, I don't think it can be fixed. I'm thinking about sending it in for warranty service. I'm not sure if it'll be covered though. I was just wondering if anyone else had had or heard of this problem? I was gonna take a picture of it but I dont know how well it would show up with my camera so I didn't bother too. I think I explained the best way I know how or what has happened, if not I'll try again if someone asks.

This is ABSOLUTELY covered by warranty. Send it in and they will probably send you a new knife or at least a new handle. Kershaw has excellent customer service!

Yeah they do I've got nothing but good too say about there customer service. They have sent me torsion bars and screw and a Three bit screw driver as well.I even offered to pay and they wouldn't except. I was just worried about sending it in and them not being able to do anything as I'm pretty sure they don't make this model anymore as it was a limited run. I don't want too loose the knife if they did replace it with the same model that wouldn't be bad. I'll have to contact someone there and see what they have to say about it. I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue with the Ti wearing through near the pivot.

What nygiants3342 said. I haven't had any problems with mine but if it has worn to the pivot I would definitely send it back. I'm more then sure they carry replacement parts for it. Kershaw wouldn't sell you a knife they couldn't take care of for you. Also i seen where a Kershaw Rep posted on the ZDP leek and said they did have parts on hand for them.
