Hi Guys
I just recieved a short sword from Rusty's sale, does anyone know how they are designed to be worn?? The frog looks like it is designed so that the sword would lie parallel to the belt instead of hanging from it.

I wondered that as well when I got my Tibetan Sword a couple years back, and it seems the set-up is correct as regards a horizontal belt wear. I've seen it in a couple of vintage photos from the turn of the (last) century, around the time of the 1904-5 British expedition to Lhasa.

Hope this helps, ruel

Hi Guys
Thanks for the replies. I think I will build a light baldric and sling it Euro-style. All I need to do now is sharpen it!!

chuck the frog and stick it through a wide cloth sash around your waist...

. . . with a ball pein hammer tucked in the sash on the opposite hip for balance.
