Tibetan swords are called ke tri (pronounced "kay dreh") and for an article see:

for more examples see:

or

Since Tibet is a neighbor of Nepal, I would like to know whether any one here, amu Bill and the rest could talk to the kamis and ask them whether there are any specimens of ke tri brought to Nepal. If yes plese let me know.

Second do the Kamis know whether there is any existing martial arts in Tibet in general and swordmanship practices in particular?

Are there any existing manuals of swordmanship in Tibet. They used to be fierec warriors.

Regards,

Manoucher

The only Tibet blade I saw in Nepal was the thee. I'm not sure about any of the other questions but Tibetan bow, arrow and sword did not fare well against the Chinese when they invaded Tibet.
