Are these available at dealers yet? If anyone out there has one I'd love to know what you think.

Alan,
I have never heard of Tiburon. Can you fill me in?
Thanks

Greg, the Tiburon is a fixed blade for kyaking/boating that is skeletonized, has a wrench built into handle and line cutter in blade, it's a multti-purpose sorta knife. It came out about the same time as the Big Sky, but I have not had a chance to handle one yet. There is a picture on Buck site in the New knives area.

That's right Brian, I have seen that tool. Thanks for filling me in....at my age the memory thing ......ugh...forgot what I was gonna say.

Kodiak,

It looks like others have jumped in and answered your question before I logged in. I'm curious about the Tiburon because it seems to pack so much utility into one piece for those of us that spend a lot of time around rivers especially. The sheath also appears to be extremely versatile from the photos on Buck's WWW site.

All,
It is my understanding that Buck decided to
redesign the sheath for the Tiburon, thus
delaying its introduction. I think it should
be ready by now for distribution. I have had
one on order since spring, and mine is yet
to arrive.
