Good Evening folks. I wanted to share some photos with you of a beautiful pocket knife I recently received from Gregorio. Here are some photos from my perspective as I got the parcel:
The box, turned over to not disclose names and addresses:
Once I got the box open:
This looks more familiar. Excellent leather sheath too (thanks Greg
)
Very beautiful when resting:
Even more beautiful when we can see the clip point.
I don't post much in here, but I do find myself lurking a bit since before I joined the forums. I wanted to share with you the beauty of this pocket knife, and I promised Greg that I would create a thread here with some photos and impressions. so, here we go:
This is my very first Tidioute branded knife from Great Eastern Cutlery. My very first GEC knife was a 62 (Easy Pocket Congress) in burnt stag. This knife is significantly thinner and vanishes in your pocket. The craftsmanship on this knife is about as perfect as you can expect. It's very sharp as well, and I've already used it to cut up an apple earlier today. This is a new pattern for me, but I can tell you that the covers are about equal on both sides. The pull on it is about a 7/10, and the lines are clean and liners are flush in open and closed positions. This knife will be put to use, no doubt about it. Finally, I would like to thank Greg for his generosity I was blown away, and I will be paying it forward.
