As usual, less talk more pics.
I got this one in a trade here on BF.
The usual GEC quality we all know and love, slight baldepaly on the clip blade, none on the spey. Pretty dull out of the box, but 1095 is always fun to sharpen.
Hell, it would almost bother me to see a shavin' sharp GEC out of the box :D
I'm beginning to develop a thing for the trapper pattern and Tidioute Cutlery:)

luckas is that the antique amber bone. i believe your photos are probably better looking than the actual knife.

What is it about that pattern that grabs so many?

Perfect size at 3-7/8" closed, slender profile, nice pointy clip, and beautifully hafted.

The only thing NOT to like is the spey blade pull on the pile side. Not sure why they did that.

Looks great! The only trapper I have is a Case... been meaning to look into the same pattern from some other makers. This might have to be my next stop.

Thanks for sharing!

I'd like to see some more releases shod in that Cobblestone Bone, got to give credit to GEC for offering a vast array of bone!
