Not to fool the TSA or the police, if such a thing were available they should be the first to be aware of it. And the Spyderco Tie-clip knife is hardly concealed, it looks exactly like a knife, and would violate employers' anti-weapons policies.
But those of us who wear ties and need a tie clip anyway could sure use a small blade hidden there, maybe a replacable retractable box cutter to be actually used as a box cutter.
Or an X-acto blade, or a scapel, or even a real knife blade. It would have to be light weight and thin to function as a tie clip or it would just be a gimmick. Has anyone seen anything like this?
As a weapon, a pen would be quicker to deploy, but it does a lousy job of cutting stuff like packing tape. Any ideas?
