Tiger GW thickness

I do not have a pair of calipers. Does anyone here know for sure how thick these were? Thanks! :)
 
As far as I remember some Tiger GWs were made 0.14" and some 0.17". They were listed on the Busse company store as 0.14 thick, but some were made thicker - 0.17".
 
I definitely have the thicker one then....just comparing it to my black micarta DC .17". Don't have a pair of calipers though and would also like some insights into specs for this knife and whether there are some of each out in the market.

I haven't seen a thin one... all of mine are fat...2 from the Store, 2 from the Exchange, 1 from a trade. all the same .17 thickness (approx. no calipers)... DO you have a thin one?? Now... I've been known to drink 'n' smoke a little, so do take my word as fact BUT I seem to recall them listed at .17, but if not, it could've been a typo mistake... hmmmm I dunno, except SOMEONE please show me an ANOREXIC Tiger Game Warden, please??? :D ...Next to a regular if ya could... :thumbup: Thanxx!!
 
Are there any GWs that are a bonifide .20? I know Skunk said the yellows were, but then I thought somebody said that they were actually thinner. It looks like the only apprximate thicknesses are ~.13-.14 and ~.17-.18.

I do not have any Tiger Warden, but that's what I remember - that there are thicker and thinner. I might be mistaken thoug...:o

:eek: Send it back it is fatter than the one I kept!

Ok of the Tigers I have had they were all very consistent and measure .175 right where the handle ends.

All the Yellows I have had were also consistently .197
 
Three Tigers: 0.172, 0.173, 0.178. Miked at the handle. Oh -- this caliper is regularly rigorously calibrated.

(Glad I can still handle a caliper)
