to answer a couple of questions about the color of "tiger striped" micarta i post this pic.
i have been comparing the different tiger striped micarta as i have seen some major differences of the color pattern in the different style and cuts of scales.
a MRS will not have the exact same color as a NO, and it will differ from the FSH.
the different patterns cut into the tiger will revel different color layers, even on the same pattern!
then if you take the virgin scales and start applying water, sweat, 4d-40, jw blue, they will mellow and become an individual.
no two will ever be the same. tiger will look almost red (as on the company store site) when freshly oiled, then turn lighter later on. the second up from the bottom is the same knife as in the "store's" photo it is my user and sitting on my desk getting fondled all day long.
remember, when you buy a busse you are getting a hand fitted "custom" production knife, the best in the business
