Crap! I like the Tiger more than the CQC-13 now. Love the CQC-8 blade on the CQC-13 handle. It's like they read my mind.
 
I'd like to add, please everyone, buy these up. This "another Emerson" obsession I have been fighting is starting to be a problem :) !
 
Looks to be a "folding cleaver" in that the blades cutting edge is almost as "low" as the finger guards on the handle. Definitely looks like a stout blade as it doesn't look 3.9" long IMHO. Should be a wave-monster, especially if single detent like the Zealot and Vindicator.

I noticed that too. At first I wasn't interested, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. There are too many options available right now from Emerson, and knowing the HD-7 is coming makes it even worse.

I was wondering if the Tiger has a single detent as well. It seems to be a trend amongst their new releases.

Anyone here snag one yet?
 
I ordered one earlier today. I will post my impressions when I receive it. I already know that I will like it since I really like the handle on the 13 and the blade of the 8 and this appears to be just that.
