I am so happy with this little family of knives! These are all going to be users. The Jack and GW have already seen a little use but I am looking forward to putting them through a lifetime of "appreciation" in the field and around the house. Enough about me and my "family"... Let's see your favorite sets!

Oh man, that is SWEET!!!!

I'm working on a similiar set myself, but need to wait for the big one to come in (I haven't even been charged yet :( )

Congrats --- that's a sweet set of blades.

The SJTAC LE was called "snakeskin" when it came out, but it sure resembles Tiger Hide more to me.

Great set!

Dunner,
Great looking set, congrats on some real beauties.

(I haven't even been charged yet :( )

Eli,
I haven't been charged yet either, but I have to say we both must be crazy when we are anxious to be charged for something ;)

:D:D

Thanks for the kind words everyone :) . And Greg45 that is a SWEET set you have there as well! 3 great examples of OD and a nice spread is size and useage which is what I was going for! Thank for posting your pic

I suppose this is one of my favorite sets that I have (probably the only set that I have ;) ) If I had to choose 3 that went together these would be them

Wow... these sets are making me slobber! All three are awesome! (Dunner, I'm glad you managed to score the same number.)

Um, no? The LE was marketed as Tiger Hide. There were some LE rejects that didn't meet the cosmetic appearance criteria and were DCBB'd and given snakeskin scales, but they were never called LEs.

I think the LE SJTAC does look more like snakeskin then other tiger handles have. I think this is a pic of Radens LE, I think he oiled them though so its hard to tell what it exatly is.
