I have had a SEAL 2000 for some time. I figured it was about time to get the big brother. I ordered it from Roger at Bayou LaFourche.

Simply put, it is a hoss. Mine came very sharp, scary sharp even.

It fits my hand very well. The Kraton feels good.

It isn't too terribly heavy where it does not move gracefully in my average size hands.

Sheath is okay as well. It does its job in keeping the knife secure.

I believe I done good.

That's awesome dude. I was kinda leary getting that big of a knife and I'm glad I didn't cuz the SEAL 2000 is pretty big, at least to me. I would like to see one in person though, but no one has that stuff here in Tulsa, Oklahoma. How does the handle compare to that of the SEAL 2000?

Let us know when you get to put that hoss to use! :D

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe its size to be a liability. The size was one of the reasons I got it. The handle on the TS is Kraton.

The handle on the S2000 feels different to me, harder. I don't believe it to be Kraton. I might be mistaken though.

Yeah the handle on the 2000 is Zytel, real hard stuff. Didn't know if the Kraton stuff was squishier or not.

Yep, it is definitely softer than my SEAL2000, but firm at the same time. I am quite pleased. There is also a metal guard beneath the Kraton guard.

Enjoy it! :D

Oh I shall Bobby, I shall!

As I am feeling froggy, I already have a back sheath on the way from Robert H. @ Survival Sheath Systems.

I haven't decided if I want a shoulder sheath for it yet.

I found the SEAL 2000 was bigger than I expected. And heavier, too. I can only reckon that the Tigershark is really impressive.

Congrats! The tigershark is one of my favorite knives ever!! Hope you put it to good use. If you have trouble carrying comfortably (because its bigger than most knives) I'd reccomend an extender for the sheath and then strapping it to you're leg, or if you mount it on and LBV or harness I always like it on the off-side shoulder :)

A Tigershark is one heck of a huge carry knife. Like Rod said, it's heavy. It weighs almost as much as the Al Mar Warrior, which is an absolute brick of a knife (around 18 oz).

The 17 oz. weight on the Tigershark definitely will affect how easily/ comfortably you can carry/ conceal it. I'm making an assumption that's what you're planning based on your sheath selections.

wow, 7 months ago I said the Tigershark was a great knife.

That being past tense, it needs an update: The Tigershark IS a great knife !!
Nothing in the past 7 months has changed my mind (even as small as it is.... my mind that is).

Cheers,

Carl

I have a pair of Tigersharks...plain-edge & part-serrated edge. These are very impressive knives indeed...
